3M™ 3MDW301 Under Sink Drinking Water System With Dedicated Faucet

Recently certified to reduce microplastics and select pharmaceuticals, the 3M™ 3MDW301 is an under-the-sink dedicate faucet water filtration system. The system features a designer faucet and is a great choice for cleaner, clearer, and better tasting drinking water, coffee, tea, or cooking. 

The system incorporates an advanced multi-stage membrane and carbon block filtration process to help reduce Class 1 particulates, chlorine taste and odor, chloramine, asbestos, parasitic protozoan cysts*, lead, MTBE, TTHM, VOCs, 1,2,3-trichloropropane, emerging contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) and endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) including microplastics, bisphenol A (BPA), diethyltoluamide (DEET), ibuprofen, atenolol, estrone, carbamazepine, linuron, metolachlor, meprobamate, naproxen, nonylphenol, phenytoin, and trimethoprim.

The 3MDW301 system is designed with a built-in shut off valve for simple filter changes; pressure relief valve to reduce water release during filter changes; and 3/8 inch NPT inlets and outlets for increased flow rates. The system includes head, the 3MDW311 carbon filter with a 0.2 nominal micron pharmaceutical-grade nylon membrane; and a pre-filter wrap to reduce sediment and other particulates while protecting the carbon media.

The 3MDW311 replacement filter features an advanced multi-stage filtration with membrane and carbon-block media to provide cleaner, clearer, better tasting drinking water.

The universal system can be used on both municipal (chlorine or chloramine disinfected) and well water (non-chlorinated or disinfected) water systems.
