This single use silicone packet is great for lubricating O-ring gaskets during filtration system filter changes. Many home owners don’t put silicone on their O-rings during filter changes and end up with damaged or pinched O-rings which end up causing leaks. Leaks can cause major water damage and flooding to homes. 

Silicone can also help prevent filter housings from sticking and making it almost impossible to remove your filters. Just add a little bit of the silicone to the threads of the filter housing and that will help the housing break loose the next time you go to change your filter.
